Best Paintings of all Time

I always liked self portraits but never thought of them as favorite paintings. That is until I saw a particular one of the dozens that Van Gogh did. The details and unique style of painting of Van Gogh reached it's full potential here. It's a very "realistic" portrait without using one trace of realism in it.

And the next one is Lucian's Freud self portrait. What fascinates me in this one is the apparent low amount of brushstrokes to achieve something so special. In my opinion, Lucian is the Freud who should be most celebrated.
